I'll stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.

Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I will break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

Despite those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.

Physical Difference

As both boxers participated in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really going ahead.
